O n\u00famero 36891, por exemplo, representa a data 31-12-2000. Para o Excel 01-01-1900 \u00e9 a data 1. Essa forma de tratar datas como n\u00fameros seriais permite fazer c\u00e1lculos com datas facilmente. Um exemplo: basta tirar a diferen\u00e7a entre dois n\u00fameros seriais para saber quantos dias transcorreram entre as duas datas correspondentes.<\/p>\n<p>Para fazer a convers\u00e3o de um n\u00famero serial em data e vice-versa \u00e9 preciso conhecer as regras do calend\u00e1rio gregoriano. S\u00e3o bissextos os anos m\u00faltiplos de 4 como 2012 e 2016. Fogem \u00e0 regra os anos que tamb\u00e9m s\u00e3o m\u00faltiplos de 100 e n\u00e3o s\u00e3o m\u00faltiplos de 400. S\u00f3 ocorre uma diferencia\u00e7\u00e3o em datas anteriores a 01-03-1900. \u00a0Isso ocorre por dois motivos: o Excel n\u00e3o trabalha com seriais negativos para datas e tem uma inconsist\u00eancia ao tratar o ano de 1900 como bissexto.<\/p>\n<p>Pelo m\u00e9todo que propomos em datas anteriores a 01-03-1900 o n\u00famero serial n\u00e3o bate com o Excel, mas tem a vantagem de desconsiderar 29-02-1900 que \u00e9 aceito pelo Excel. Al\u00e9m disso, d\u00e1 resultado para datas anteriores a 01-01-1900. O m\u00e9todo pode ser usado at\u00e9 15-10-1582, quando foi inaugurado o calend\u00e1rio gregoriano. Para datas mais antigas \u00e9 preciso usar um m\u00e9todo que considere as regras do calend\u00e1rio Juliano que \u00e9 o calend\u00e1rio da Antiguidade.<\/p>\n<table style=\"border-collapse:
